Greetings,
I, Ophelia Gould-Faison, am proud to publicly announce my candidacy for the Halifax County Board of Commissioners District 1. When I am elected, it is my vision and my goal to be “A Voice and A Vote to Strengthen Halifax County”.

Over the years, I have interacted with many citizens across Halifax County. I have always been approachable and interested in collaborating with citizens about various issues that impact their community. During my tenure as Commissioner, I plan to host listening sessions. I look forward to working jointly with the Board of Commissioners to find solutions that will serve the greatest and highest good for all citizens of Halifax County.
Voting for me as your County Commissioner for District 1 will enable me to be “A Voice and A Vote to Strengthen Halifax County!”
